Details of the Salary and other allowances of IBPS CLERK?

IBPS is an autonomous body for to conduct various common written exams for posts lying vacant in the banks listed under it. Most of the graduates prefer to opt for bank exams as it has a prestigious career option for the lifetime. Some of them are aware of the salary and allowances as they have some or the other person working in the bank. There are some candidates who do not have any idea yet they apply for the post. Let us discuss the salary and allowances offered to the IBPS Clerk by the nationalized banks listed under it.

There are lot opportunities in the working life of IBPS Clerk to get timely increments in the salary and allowances of IBPS CLERK.  Salary and allowances of bank employees is revised after every five years. The increment in the salary is given to the employees every year. Dearness allowance is increased almost every quarter. All these benefits attract the candidates more towards the job and those who are working get motivation to give their best in the organization.

The pay scale of a Bank Clerk is given below:

Pay Scale:

Rs. 11765 – (655×3) – 13730 – (815×3) – 16175 – (980×4) – 20095 – (1145×7) – 28110 – (2120×1) – 30230 – (1310×1) – 31540

To elaborate it further, we can say that basic salary is Rs. 11765. Figures reflecting in brackets are the timely increments given to the clerk. At the time of joining the basic salary will be Rs. 11765/- further it is increased in the first year with Rs. 655/-
Dearness Allowance:
IBPS Clerk is entitled for regular dearness allowance as and when implemented. Currently the percentage for DA is 48 per cent of the basic salary which means that a basic pay of Rs. 11765 will receive a DA of Rs. 5600 approximately.
Special Allowance: 
A special allowance of 7.75% of the basic pay is allowed which will be added in your DA. It means that a basic pay of Rs. 11765/- will get special allowance as Rs. 912 and DA on it will be given as Rs. 410/-.
House Rent Allowance: 
HRA is associated with the place of posting which varies from 10 per cent to 7.5 per cent.
After evaluating all the allowances and salary benefits discussed above the monthly take home of IBPS Clerk will range from Rs. 19000 to Rs. 20000 as per the place of posting of the employee.
